OCA tutor and assessor Diana Ali looks at the work of drawing student Emma Hunt.
Emma has taken the short drawing animals exercise through to her assignment 5 project. She explores and experiments with space and media, unconcerned with executing a finished piece. She wants to see what the materials will do and the output is a substantial body of bold, energetic studies – confident and refined.

Hello Diana,
Thank you for sharing Emma’s work, and thanks to Emma too.
I have a question.
Is the “short drawing animals exercise” you refer to from Part Two,Your own environment, Project 5, Pets and other animals, or is Emma taking a different version of D1?
Thanks
Alison
