Very interesting work. It makes me want to know more about these people and their stories – the essence of good documentary, as Jesse says on today’s other post. I look forward to seeing how this work progresses and develops.
Yes it is very interesting work. I met Mo at a recent Workshop on Environmental Portraiture and she is so committed to developing her practice. Her blogs are well worth a read as well – hope you read this Mo and give everyone a link (I didn’t want to presume to do it myself).
Very gentle photographs. Inspiring to think about incorporating such personal work into the early assignments. Thanks for showing them.
Great stuff….like Eileen I was left wondering about the people in the photographs and wanting to know more about them. The fact that the work is having this affect on viewers is testimony to the strength of the work….
Thank you very your kind comments. A big thanks to Clive for encouraging me to go with the work I wanted to do.
My other learning log is

Mo, I think your street photos are so inspiring… Ive just started the AOP, and I hope to be able to convey such meaning in my photography. I love Nan Goldin and your work reminds me of her style.
Beautiful work, capturing the life of these people on the streets, It can be seen that Mo has befriended these young people and they are in return comfortable in front of her camera, there is a trust and friendship that can be felt. I will be watching the work closely. Well done
