Accessing higher education can be daunting, but it doesn’t have to be.

When I was at Sixth Form thinking about my choices, I did not know what I should do for the best, should I do a degree that I enjoy, or go for the one with the potentially better job opportunities?

We understand that the flexibility of distance learning means people from all over choose to study with us, old and young, artists and designers, carers, students with disabilities, students from every possible background.

Everyone who studies with us is an individual, with hopes, dreams, worries, concerns, but above all a passion for the arts.

With so many options available, choosing what degree works for you can sometimes feel like holding your finger up to see which way the wind is blowing. But what if it didn’t have to be so difficult?

Catherine, Emma, & Xhenifa are available to sit down over some tea and cake (Disclaimer, may not actually be tea or cake) and talk through those hopes and dreams and work out which course, which unit is best suited to your needs so you can succeed.

Whether you need assistance enrolling, managing your time frames, guidance on how to apply for Student Finance or how best to utilise OCA resources, they’ll be there to help.

They’re suitably trained advisers to help you make the most of your student experience and make sure you receive the best support. We believe it is important you have the tools and information to make independent and informed decisions about your study.

No question is a silly question! If you are unsure about something, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Advisers are available Monday – Thursday 09:00 – 17:00, and Friday 09:00 – 16:00 and we’re happy to have an informal chat by contacting us on +44 (0) 1226 730495 or on Live Chat via the OCA website. Alternatively, send an email to enquiries@oca.ac.uk.

This has been the fifteenth day of #accessoca, join us tomorrow at noon for the next post.
