I don’t recall your name, but your “fez” is familiar

Oh my goodness it’s Christmas Eve! Not being funny, but when we talked about launching an advent series no-one mentioned writing all of the blogs. I now have writer’s cramp and have lost a large amount of sanity, can someone please send help.

Seriously though, it’s quite something to think of the beginnings of OCA and where it is now. And we are by no means finished in seeing our mission fulfilled.

Hopefully you’ll have seen over the last twenty-three days how OCA opens up access to the creative arts. If you’ve thought, “study would be great but I don’t see how it’s feasible for me” hopefully we’ve shone a light on a path for you.

There is a way and a means out there for everyone, access for everyone who wants to study. OCA will help you find it.

And there’s more to come. Keep your eyes peeled over this next year as we release new and exciting courses including hopefully Garden Design, new approaches to support, and new ways of getting in touch with us.

It’s never a dull day at OCA, but at the end of this year, as I write this, more than ever I’m struck by the journey that we as a college are on, that the place that we want to get to is more in reach than ever, and that we are on the cusp of something really, really exciting.

From all of us at OCA, wishing you all the best for the festive season, wherever you are, and we look forward to seeing you in the new year and another 30+ years of improving access to creative arts education for all, in an evolving society.
