OCASA presidential election result
I am very pleased that we had a good level of voting in the elections for the first president of the OCA Students’ Association. In total 252 votes were cast by the deadline on Friday and the result is as follows:
Stan Dickinson 141
Sarah Gallear 111
I would like to thank both Stan and Sarah for putting themselves forward and for the obvious level of interest that they generated.
If you want to refresh your memory of what Stan said in his election address it is here. Stan will be meeting with Jim Smith and myself in the coming weeks to set in train the development of a constitution for the Students Association, after which the Association will be inviting nominations for Committee posts.
