QAA Review

This year OCA will be reviewed by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA); the independent body responsible for assuring standards and quality in Higher Education. As part of the assessment the OCA Student Association (OCASA) is asked to submit a document that reflects student opinion across all courses and levels – in other words a survey!
The survey will also allow OCASA to gather information for Project 2014 – the latest phase of OCA’s on-going programme to develop the student experience. An important theme of Project 2014 is ‘Student Engagement’ and how students can be more involved in the shaping of their learning experience.
You will be sent a link to the survey by Survey Monkey within the next few weeks. Please look out for the link and take a few minutes to provide your feedback – thank you. OCASA will share the data from the survey on our website as soon as we have summarised it. Note however that all data is confidential, and individuals will not be identifiable.
If you have any questions about the survey or QAA please post them as a comment in the OCASA website
This is your chance to influence the future of your studies. Thank you in advance for taking part in the survey.
