If you’re looking at which university to go and study at, chances are one of your first stops for information will be one of the university guides; Times and Sunday Times, Guardian, and Complete University Guides being amongst the most popular. Whilst looking through these you might notice a few things, particularly about OCA and our parent institution the University for the Creative Arts.

The UK has one of the best higher education sectors in the world. A quick look at the top universities in the world 2019 according to Times Higher Education, shows three UK universities in the top ten, with the top two spots going to UK uni’s.

Within this impressive resumé, the University for the Creative Arts sits in a special place. Named Modern University of the Year 2019 by the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, UCA is also ranked No.1 in the UK for the creative industries, and 33rd overall, the highest place ever by a modern university.

The Open College of the Arts is proud to be a part of this thriving and vibrant university, and has helped UCA achieve these unprecedented feats. In this years National Student Survey, OCA achieved a satisfaction rating of 91.3%, compared to the sector average of 83%.

All this stuff is great, but what does it mean?
