From Death to Death and Other Small Tales brings together works from the private D.Daskalopoulos Collection with works from the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in an exhibition which explores the significance of the body as a theme in 20th and 21st century art practice. We’ll be hosting a study visit there on Saturday 22nd June 2013. Short notice, but worth the visit! Artists represented within the exhibition include Marina Abramovic, Matthew Barney, Joseph Beuys, Louise Bourgeois, Helen Chadwick, Marcel Duchamp, Robert Gober, Paul McCarthy, Mike Kelley and Sarah Lucas.
Please note this exhibition features nudity and imagery of an explicit nature, so brace yourself. Tutors Emma Drye and Olivia Irvine will lead the visit, starting at 11am.
If you’d like a place please email enquiries@oca-uk.com as soon as possible.

  • Thanks for the invite Jane: Unfortunately we will be away that weekend so can’t make it. I have seen the show and will visit again before it closes in September.
