Apologies – fixed now
That’s a wonderful idea for a project. Is there a Blurb book/does Geoffrey have a blog so I can read more about it?
I won’t go into detail but I’ve been thinking again about layers of meaning and memory we ascribe to photographs and one memory popped into my head as soon as I saw that small photograph of the dustbin lid.
Lovely, sensitive work Geoffrey.
Thanks Sharon. Your comments are very helpful.
Inspiring body of work … !
I like the way the text doesn’t describe the image, but tells a narrative that is related.
Yes so do I.
It was the telephone for me and the difficulties in hearing you and it is never your fault. My father is still alive so what memories I will have when he is no longer here I don’t know yet. A book is a great idea.
So thrilled to see this post. Slightly biased as I had the pleasure of seeing the work when it was first submitted by Geoffrey. It is the sensitivity of the writing with the images that make it for me, without it becoming sentimental.
