Just a few of the very many photos uploaded to the OCA flickr group after the study weekend about ten days ago. It would be good if students who blogged their reports of the weekend could put a link in the comments below so other students can get a feel for the weekend.

Great Weekend, so much I split it into two blogs yet still didn’t do it justice.
Day 1: http://www.nineelmsphotography.com/blog/?p=936
Day 2: http://www.nineelmsphotography.com/blog/?p=942
I also had a great weekend. It was lovely to meet everyone and a really useful experience. Thanks for featuring a couple of my photos in the slideshow (and a photo of my photos)!
I also wrote two blog posts. One about my thoughts on the theme of the biennial:

And one about the study visit itself:

The soundtrack is great Mark, really gives an atmospheric edge to the pix.
Excellent compilation and a great study visit. I only got there for the Saturday, and for what its worth, it’s blogged at

I’m afraid I’m still trying to do justice to the weekend by writing up the visit to my learning log and editing the video I took during the event. Life, as ever keeps getting in the way but it will happen. A great weekend, I learned a lot and thanks to Mark for putting this up and motivating me to get my report finished.
Thanks Mark for putting this together, it’s a nice postscript to an event I really got a lot out of, and I only went on the Sunday! For what it’s worth, my blog post is here

Some nice pictures, and nice to have a soundtrack. It looks as if it was fun and I wish I could have gone. I love the curvy exhibition space in the church.
Great weekend thanks to Gareth, Jose, Clive, Sharon and Jesse and all the enthusiastic students….great to see the exhibitions but also to meet lots of people. Thanks Mark for doing the video…My blog post is here

Great weekend – just about ready to load my pics onto flickr
Probably my favourite photo from the week-end …

I was provoked into making this image …

… by the one guy not looking at the camera!
I may be the only student who regretted going with this group, but there it is, some parts of it were excellent in a curate’s egg kind of way. Not sure if I’ll go to any more study days like this in future.
