  • Thanks for this video. It’s always useful to see how other students have approached submissions; and to hear feedback from tutors on why the submission is being highlighted. Congrats to Anne for what looks like a really solid set of work for TAOP

  • As you say Vicky, these videos about the presentation for the submission are really useful.
Anne, your learning log looks very rich and interesting and your presentation is really inspiring, thanks!

  • It is nice to be see what is a good physical log book is like. Unlike online blog, I hardly get a glimpse on what they are like.

  • Well, it certainly doesn’t look as if you’ve ‘lost your faith in words’! Exemplary and another acclaim for the printing. Well done and, from this distance, looking well deserved Anne.

  • Thanks all, I posted a thanks to Vicki and Keith before but its still awaiting “moderation” I don’t know if this one will work!

  • HQ, thanks for the video…
Anne, I’m impressed… raising the bar further, once again. Not much else to say… credit given where due.
    D.

  • Excellent presentation Anne. Good to see a physical logbook as well. I remember you saying you were determined not to have a blog.

  • I also hope everyone has enjoyed my varying shades of B&W printing:-) I’ve been thinking of that assignment as “12 shades of grey” It nearly drove me mad printing it. I worked out how to do it a bit better by the time I got to assignment 5.
Catherine, yes … I find it hard to write properly, especially if I’m trying to think at the same time, so consequently a handwritten logbook works out much better for me – I don’t feel obliged to use proper English and can flick through going back and forth as things occur to me. In my current one for landscape I’m also doing some typed sections which will hopefully assist those who have to read it:-)

  • As a brand new student to TAOP I found this little video very useful in giving me an insight as to the sort of style of presentation that is praised by a tutor. It must be very encouraging for you Anne too, a great motivational boost I would think.

    • Hi Jill, I thought I’d say welcome! And also agree that it is a boost to feel your work is thought well of. I felt a bit weird doing a physical logbook for some of the time as seeing other people’s really well presented, and fully thought through blog posts praised made me wonder if my more messy and fluid way of working in my logbook was going to be OK or not – that’s partly why I typed up more formal things properly after. Anyway, I think the main thing is, however you actually do the work – online or not online, (and I didn’t get on with online) is to do it the best you can so it helps you be engaged in your working process and then make sure everything is labelled and organised properly for assessment. I got most of the info I needed on that on the various student forums.

  • Great work Anne. It is fascinating to see the logbook and how you have pulled it all together.
A very useful and informative video also.

  • As a student just having completed Part one of TAOP it is really useful to see a presentation for the assessment that is highly thought of by the tutors. It’s nice to see a physical logbook and congratulations on such a great and well thought out submission.
