Strangers in a Strange Landscape

OCA photography student John Walker’s exhibition ‘Strangers in a Strange Landscape’ opens at the Coconut Loft Art Gallery, Lowestoft.

The work is predominantly in Black and White and the photographs are either urban landscapes or street photography.
“I came across this rather incongruous scene on a visit to Snape Maltings. It was in an area due for re-development.”

“I first became interested in photography in the mid-60s. My concerns for dynamic landscapes and the people who inhabit them are still with me today. Most of the people seen in the exhibition are just a small proportion of those whose stories and portraits I have collected”
“This image was captured near Norwich market place and this chap was taking a well-earned rest after a day’s hard work”.
