OCA Visual Communications tutors and assessors look at the work of Brian O’ Carroll, Harry Kidd and Lina Homer.
By jumping to solutions students sometimes miss out on opportunities to try to resolve the commentary and explore their own visual language. There is an educational requirement to demonstrate visual development, exploration and experimentation but as well as that if you are working in an industrial context the client often wants to see another variation as the one that might be your favourite might not be theirs.
