East of England study event: Bookbinding

Next meeting – Saturday 18 May 2019 12.30pm – 4.00pm

Come and join us for a book binding workshop with OCA tutor Andrea Norrington.

We will make some examples of artist’s books that can be used by students of all disciplines. Andrea has been making books since childhood and currently produces a range of books using waste materials.
There is no need to bring materials, but if you have a cutting mat, metal ruler, and scalpel, please do bring these along. If you do not have any of these, items will be available to borrow. More information will be emailed out prior to the event.
The event is open to all OCA students from all disciplines. It is an ideal opportunity to interact with other students, share your experiences as a student with like-minded peers.
To register an interest in attending complete the booking form here.
Please note there will be a £5 booking fee for this event.

Feedback from our last meeting:

“Brilliant and insightful day. Thank you, Tanya, so much for making it happen and chairing the time so efficiently. Excellent to have heard Andrea discuss inter disciplinary working – pertinent to thoughts behind my current projects”
