Experimental sketchbook development day

Join OCA textiles tutor Priscilla Edwards at Manchester Art Gallery on the 5 May.
The focus of this workshop is to explore and develop your own sketchbooks creating a useful working tool full of ideas and inspiration to inform your working practice.
Using the Kate Haywood exhibition at the Manchester Art Gallery as a starting point you will develop a series of observational drawings that explore different qualities of wet and dry media. From these drawings you will create a small collection of samples in fabric and paper exploring the diversity of scale, materials and techniques.
This workshop is suitable for students studying at any level as it is designed to build on their individual skill base already developed through prior learning.
