New Designers Part 1 Study Visit

Join Sandra on the 27 June at the Business Design Centre for the New Designers study visit.
This is a huge fair exhibiting the work of 1500 students. You will get a real sense of the type of work that’s going on in design; e.g. current design trends, textile techniques, materials, use of colour etc.
In addition to 2015 graduates ‘One Year On’ will showcase the work of selected up and coming new designers.
The programme of talks and tours will be announced on the New Designers website at the end of May. The talks will address current issues and topics pertinent to the design sector. They will be taking place throughout the day and are well worth attending.
We will begin our visit at 11.00am and  finish at around 15:30pm but you may want to get the most from the day and stay to the end of the show if you have time. It is likely that you will be collecting graduate postcards and handouts, and buying books and magazines etc. so come prepared with this in mind. And like any sort of event like this, please wear comfortable shoes because you will be on your feet all day!
