A new reality show will be hitting our screens this summer – Campus Uncovered. What do university staff really get up to? What’s it like on the other side of the system? Do they practice what they preach?
Open College of the Arts is excited to be part of the first series which will see a Big Brother style format with cameras installed office wide. What really happens at OCA HQ? Who are the voices at the end of the phone and email signatures? Now’s your opportunity to tune in and find out!
Channelling I’m a celebrity the public will be able to assign tasks to staff such as completing the courses OCA offer, to undergo assessment, test excel skills and job swap employees roles for kicks. You can reward staff with longer lunches or cut them completely! Would you like to see OCA Principal, Will Woods, man the phones for the day? See the Directors don Sumo suits? Or the Student Services team sing all their conversations? Perhaps the Academic Development team deserve Wednesdays off but the Accounts team need to come in at the weekend? Maybe the TEL team should do a danceathon, the Learner Support team stand on one leg all afternoon and the dispatch team stay silent for a day? The power is in your hands!
Who will get an A and who will get an F? At the end of the show a winner will be crowned and offered a year paid sabbatical!
