Christa Hotham

OCA tutor and assessor Doug Burton looks at the work of BA (Hons) Creative Arts student Christa Hotham. Christa investigates her subject – its form and structure -through different materials and making. You can trace the development of her ideas and interests and a strong sense of her personal voice emerging as her creative process leads into her sculptural work.

    Great ideas of form, substance and presence in the work. They really say ‘Here I am – you cannot ignore me.’ Really inspiring connection between the artist and her work.
