Crowdfunding to prepare for OCA's Fine Art MA

OCA student Judith Farr, who lives in Northern Spain, is joining OCA’s MA Fine Art in September. She has come up with a clever plan to get her studio in a fit state to work in by September. She has launched a money raising scheme on a crowdfunding site called Sponsome. We have blogged about the crowdfunding concept here before, but I thought that Judith’s scheme might bring the idea to life for other OCA students in need of ways to earn money to help bring creative projects to life. Don’t forget that there are a range of crowdfunding platforms. This is not one I had come across before, but you may have heard of Kickstarter, probably the best known creative crowdfunding website, but there are many more including http://www.pozible.com/ and http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/ Check out Judith’s website to look at her work as well. You might even feel like sponsoring her in return for a signed print or even an original (depending on how much you donate).
