  • This is extremely helpful and gives lots of food for thought about process and progression from original reference painting to finished work – it is a well presented short video that really informs. Thanks a lot.

  • Interesting techniques on the journey from the original. There is something here that reminds me of David Hockney’s ‘A Bigger Picture’ Exhibition at the RA a few years ago.

  • A very interesting piece. I particularly like the exploration of ideas and the use of the sketchbook. The final result is very good too and something that isn’t all that clear from the course material of working from start too finish.

  • I’m really inspired by Linda’s imaginative response to the final assignment and it is great to see her progression from her original on-the-spot paintings to her final pieces. The final two in particular appeared as though they were pixelated (due to the way in which the paint was applied). I like the idea of using kitchen scouring pads to apply paint to a surface. What an interesting project! More videos like this please!
