I enjoyed both the stories. The work was interesting too. Does Joanne know Paula Rego’s women as dogs series? They are very different, of course, but say something about animal instinct.
It is so important to have contact with other artists whilst studying- and beyond. Social media has really opened this up and having an on-line community of artists to place yourself within is vital for keeping your practice alive.
