Following the announcement of vacancy on the OCA Student Association Committee for a Fine Art Student Representative, we have received one nomination and so Carol Smith will be appointed to the position unopposed. Carol’s election statement is available here.
OCASA President, Stan Dickinson, will organise the handover from previous representative, Mary Adam, in the next couple of weeks. We are grateful to Carol for coming forward to take up the role and to Mary for her work as the first OCASA Fine Art representative.

This is good news; we’re very grateful to Carol for taking up the role and looking forward to working with her. Our thanks once again to Mary for her invaluable contribution in getting OCASA up and running. The handover process is already underway & Carol will hopefully be at the next OCASA Committee Meeting on 3rd July.

Thank you Gareth – I’m very excited to have this opportunity to give something back – the OCA has provided me with the perfect way to start a big transition in my life, so I hope I can support other students in realising their own goals.
Congratulations Carol. I’ve just read your election statement and you seem like the perfect person for the role. 🙂
Thanks Noah – and I’m also excited to be part of your crit group this weekend 🙂
