Peepshows, men and mature students

One of the pleasing features of the expansion of the OCA student numbers over the last few years is we have been able to bring people into the team who can add to the student experience. Lee Gasgoyne, who graduated as a mature student from the Fine Art programme at the University of Huddersfield last summer, joined us part-time at OCA as an adviser in the Academic Services team. As a mature student himself, he has a good understanding of some of the issues that face potential students considering study with the OCA. Fortunately, however, this hasn’t prevented him from continuing with his creative work and along with a couple of colleagues, he has an installation on exhibition in Barnsley at the moment. The installation is in the foyer of the Digital Media Centre in Barnsley until 27 April and really needs to be visited to be fully appreciated. Lee has a blog here which is well worth a visit.
