Join our Fine Art Programme Leader Caroline Wright on the 20 November for a bumper study visit in Sheffield.
Going Public: International Art Collectors in Sheffield brings together four leading European private collections for a series of world-class exhibitions across the city. It will showcase stunning highlights from dslcollection, the Cattelain Collection, the Marzona Collection and the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Collection.
Students will discover work by internationally renowned artists, including Jake & Dinos Chapman, Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray, Cao Fei, Anthony McCall, Fiona Tan, Sol LeWitt, Yang Jiechang and more.
It is a full day event where we will visit five locations – Millennium Gallery, Graves Gallery, Sheffield Cathedral, SIA Gallery and Site Gallery. Find out what’s on in each space here.
As well as meeting and discussing work with Caroline students will have the opportunity to meet our Chair of Trustees Peter Bradley and hear about the decisions that led to work including that of the Chapman Brothers being displayed in Sheffield Cathedral. Peter recently wrote about art in religious contexts for Tate magazine, see here
