Anna Fox – Artist Talk for OCA students

Professor Anna Fox will give a talk about her work with some time for questions afterwards. This is an excellent opportunity to meet an inspiring artist, listen to her talking about her work and ask her your questions about photography.
Anna Fox has been working as a photographer for over 20 years and is currently Professor of Photography at UCA, Farnham. Â Influenced by British colour documentary photography Anna’s work has been internationally received. Â Her most recent series Resort is a visual critique of the British leisure resort Butlins.

The event will take place on the 7th May from 1.30pm at UCA, Farnham.

Hi Rob – at the moment it is a talk at Farnham, but we are in discussion about other possibilities. You could say we are beavering away at it
I second the call for a recording to be made available afterwards. It sounds really interesting, but there’s no way that I’ll be able to make it.

I hear you. Anna has agreed to be recorded and we have lined Mark up to do it. Allowing time for editing the video should be available in June.
I’m looking forward to it. Will be a good chance as well to have a look at their library.

I’ve just applied for a place on this visit. I did hear Anna Fox talk about this work when it was exhibited in Chichester, just as I was starting my OCA studies. I think I would get a lot more out of the talk this time around. If you can get to the venue, I’m sure it will be worth the effort.
Oh great, that means i’ll actually get to see what a study visit is like, without even getting to the UK 🙂 Glad that it’s being recorded.
