Two more photography study visits

Friday next week, ie 15 April, sees the opportunity to join Jose Navarro in a study visit to this year’s Deutsche Börse Photography Prize Exhibition and to the exhibition of London Street Photography at the Museum of London. It is a full day running from 11 am to 4pm and we know it is short notice, but we have to seize these opportunities when they arise. The study day is free and there will be a refreshment stop. Jose will be making his way between the exhibitions on public transport, so you will need to buy a ticket and can expect a bit of walking.
Then, something really special (not that Jose isn’t!). On Saturday 21 May at 11am the Whitechapel Gallery is laying on for OCA students a one hour guided tour the major Paul Graham retrospective which opens later this month. Graham was the winner of the Deutsche Börse in 2009 and the exhibition is a chance to see the evolution of his work from the hard hitting documentary of the 1980’s to his more recent, and some would argue more subtle but still socially engaged, work. Again places are free and available on a first come first served basis.
To book onto either of these study visits email enquiries@oca-uk.com Please be sure to include your name and the visit you want to join in the email

  • Alan
I have received your email and reserved you a place on both workshop.
Would all students kindly be reminded to forward bookings to the email address provided. The blog is not constantly manned and we would hate for someone to miss a place because they did not follow the procedure.
Many thanks in advance for your cooperation
