It’s all very well being open-access, but what if you’ve never studied before? With distance learning you can’t turn up at an office and ask for help. Well, you can, but Barnsley is a bit of a trek for most of our students. So what can you do when you need a (virtual) cup of tea and someone to help you make sense of it all?
Money and finances should be no barrier to study. If you have the passion, and the desire to study, OCA can help you access the resources to study.
As part of the OCA’s charitable purpose, each year our Learner Support Scheme helps new and existing students with a low household income to access our courses.
This is in the form of partial bursaries towards the course fees, dependant on household income. Applicants must not be eligible for other sources of funding, such as Student Finance.
