Following last week’s announcement on how to submit work for inclusion in WeAreOCA, students have started to get in touch with excellent work. It was always going to be difficult to decide who or what to feature first, but I have gone for One Hundred and Thirteen by textiles student Katie Taylor. Katie’s work is a site specific work for the Victorian Court Rooms in Oxford and it really rewards close inspection.
Katie is a student on Textiles 2: Contemporary Practice and her learning log is here – where you can read more about One Hundred and Thirteen and see what she is doing with tea bags!

That’s such interesting work Katie!
Its such a good idea to put work like this on weareoca so people can see what others are doing.
It is fascinating. I particularly like how you suggest the various stories with such minimal information. Great blog too – full of ideas and interest.
Thank you for your kind comments Eileen! I was an amazing opportunity for me.
